Many of the locomotives are equipped with optimised versions of the state-of-the-art ETCS/ SCMT which have covered the main corridors in Europe recently. MRCE Dispolok new multi-system locomotives will increase efficiency because there is no longer any need to stop at the border to change the locomotives. MRCE Dispolok have developed, together with the manufacturers, the concept of a “platform locomotive” which enables reconfiguration during the rental period and standardises the service at the same time.
