Bosphorus Europe Exp. on Corridor X

 

 

On 12/May/2009 MRCE Dispolok has invited to the presentation of the Bosphorus Europe Express in front of the displayed ES64F4 locomotive on the open-air ground of Transport Logistik fair. Mr. Matic Tasic (Managing Director, Slovenian Railways SZ), Mr. Rok Svetek (Managing Director Adria Kombi), Mr. Thomas Wimroither (Secretary Arge Corridor X Plus) and Mr. Dirk Steffes (COO of MRCE Dispolok) have reported their experiences and future perspectives for the Project; further on the photo: Mr. Rainer Rodig (General Affairs DB AG), Mr. Manabu Miyamoto (President of MRCE Dispolok) and Mr. Alex Dworaczek (Head of Fleet and Technical Dept. MRCE Dispolok). Within the test run in March the distance from Ljubljana (Slovenia) to Istanbul (Turkey) on Corridor X has been covered within 35 hours. This shows the big potential of time and cost reduction by using interoperable locomotives on this Corridor X.
